The Alphamega case study is unique. Alphamega Hypermarkets was already the largest and fastest developing hypermarket chain in Cyprus, with 14 stores island wide. When they came to Nest, they wanted their digital presence to reflect the offline success they enjoyed in the food retail market. Specifically, they wanted to boost their brand recognition across local digital channels and gain more users for their website. Over the course of 10 months, Nest worked closely with Alphamega’s marketing team to create a digital advertising strategy from scratch, then consistently monitored and evaluated their online performance.
Alphamega’s website traffic rose by an amazing +170%. New visitors were up by +127%, while returning visitor engagement climbed to a whopping +221%. But what the client really wanted was to maximize website visibility across devices. We performed a user analysis at the start and end of a six-month period and segmented the results accordingly. At the end of those six months, desktop users had risen by +59% and tablet users by +33%. But the most dramatic increase was in mobile users, who had increased their engagement with Alphamega’s website by +278%. Following our first campaign, our collaboration with this retail powerhouse continues. We currently have a year’s partnership under our belt, and we’re setting our sights even higher in our upcoming campaigns.
